Happy Independence Day

For those who don’t know, I have two jobs - a full time day job and my art biz - so basically I just work 24/7. Til my body demands rest, throws out the welcome mat for germs and I get sick. Apparently, the only way to stop me is fever and chills. Looking as grouchy as RAVioli right now.

Toyota 1 yr ago: Your free trial for the app that allows you to remotely connect to car is over. Me one year ago: I’m not paying $10 a month to lock & unlock my car from my phone. That’s dumb. Perimeno brain fog me now sitting in the office: Did I lock my car? Maybe I should subscribe after all.

Anyone feel like jumping into a major organization project at home is like real life "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"? If you start to organize the craft bins, it will mean you have to also carve out space for the sewing supplies...and suddenly, you're sorting the kitchen. LOL.

Another dumb #Rav4 sketch: It's a good thing RAVioli is smarter than me. My car won't lock if the keys are inside and I'm not. It beeped very angrily at me. Panda, my old Corolla would have just laughed, locked the doors and left me standing in the sun.

Story time from when I was in the loading dock at Fanime and RAVioli showed me a new trick and scared the wombat poop out of me. Lol.

There is a post going around on social that has accused me of being an AI slop ‘artist’.

Something AI slop ‘artists’ will never get: the thrill of facing a challenge to make your physical media (paint, clay, pencil, etc.) work to create something only in your head into a real, tangible thing.

Finished the artwork for my other half of my #BTS #Arirang #Concert #Freebies. This is a #haetae which are creatures from Korean mythology. I’ll have this as mini prints at Stanford. Will also make larger prints as well for my shop.

My socials think I’m ready for a new RAV4 & sending ads to me that are themed around people suggesting meanings to the acronym that fits their lifestyle. Highly doubt pasta puns was the street cred they were going for. Clearly, I will not be working for Toyota’s marketing team any time soon. lol.

The weather was nice and my flight out was later in the day so I took a walk to Boston Common and took pics of the Make Way for Ducklings sculpture. They were decorated with Easter bonnets. :)
