May Day! May Day! #MayDayStrong
Indivisible of West Central Illinois@indivisiblewcil.bsky.social · 5mo agoToday's an international day of (in)action to remind billionaires that THEIR success depends on US (the workers). We're boycotting big businesses, taking the day off from work/school, and redisributing community resources in our first city-wide garage sale. Join us! maydaystrong.org #MayDayStrong
May 1st: No work, no school, no big business shopping. City-Wide Garage Sale-ing, instead (May 2nd, too!)! #MayDayStrong #MacombIL
Community Chest Network@communitychest.bsky.social · 6mo agoThe May 1st national workers' strike and shopping freeze coincides perfectly with Macomb's City-Wide Garage Sale. If you can, take the day off work and help redistribute our community's resources by hosting a garage sale and/or buying the treasures that your neighbors no longer need. #MayDayStrong
It's #GivingTuesday! Our Little Free Pantries and Sanitary Supply Baskets provide food and hygiene products for those in need. Our Community Resource Database inventories local items available locally to borrow, rent or buy. 100% of funds raised will support these local projects. gofund.me/f574b8302

It was a beautiful day to protest fascism with Fulton County 50501! @50501il.bsky.social #NoKings #NoKingsCantonIL
We had an amazingly fun time handing out lifesavers candies, high fives, and hugs at today's Moon Over Macomb event!
We're heading into the weekend like... #NoKings
Every time we hear people claim that anti-fascists are dangerous terrorists, we remember this impromptu inflatable parade/Conga line at Macomb's #NoKings 2.0 rally. And we laugh. Some of us snort-laugh...but we won't name names. 🤭
Some of the best surprises of Saturday's parade were all the unexpected hugs! We'd offer high-fives and they'd ask for hugs, instead. The Indivisible Inflatable Brigade is always happy to deliver free hugs (upon request). #SpreadJoy #FreeHugs #NoKings

Our pro-democracy movement is surging. Now it’s up to each of us to channel this incredible energy into the organizing power it will take to win. Join us on Tuesday for a mass call of movement leaders and activists to discuss what’s next: www.mobilize.us/nokings/even... #NoKings
The inaugural deployment of the Indivisible Inflatable Brigade was such a success that we created this page to document our activities.
