i love playing shmups on the MAME arcade emulator software.... i remember downloading so many rom and trying out all kinds of different games when i was first getting into shmups.... i love roms and emulators and piracy!

i didn't watch it but i was looking for raiden videos and i saw one that was like "Full playthrough of the Raiden arcade game using 28 credits." i appreciate that in a world where 1ccers and savestate longplayers clash for dominance someone is out there quietly uploading their 28cc
made good progress on raiden commentary but need to eat diner....
saw a youtube comment alluding "Gamest magazine's safe spot rankings" and i would love to find what issue that's in lol
i was thinking the other day about how i could never learn to drive because when i play raiden i always start thinking about other stuff and absentmindedly go off-route and that could be deadly irl. but i guess on the road only a few people are actively trying to kill you
wow i started playing raiden on 9/11 it really did take an entire month to clear huh
i feel like i learned a lot about shmup by clearing raiden.... a different shmup era....

i kinda wish my clear was one of the runs where i did fucked up recoveries that went surprisingly far instead of a clean no miss, maybe i should make a raiden recoveries video....

first dasani in a while and i have to say it's more tolerable than i remembered, if it's cold enough you don't taste it as strongly, still shit tier compared to most waters though
i wanted to do a couple raiden runs to pass the time before [work thing] later this afternoon but i'm too emotionally distraught by the stage 5 boss not dying when i killed it
why dont shmup bosses just spawn the bullets directly on your hitbox it would be easier for them
still probably my funniest shmup death ever
