Was over at my best friend's house - he got the 'playful intelligence' pack, which included a cartridge with Flimbos quest, Klax, Fiendish Freddy, and International Soccer. Played it for hours, and I was amazed at the music and the graphics. It was magical. I wanted one instantly!

My older brother bought one second- possibly third-hand around 1986. The first game I played was Terra Cresta, a fantastic arcade game, O thought. The in-game music, title music and loading music blew my mind. Somewhat the worse for wear, it's still going.

I love issue 1 of Commodore Format so much. 🥰 It is a massive Nostalgia Indulgence and I can remember clear as day, walking into JCR on Glen Road, Plympton to buy it. Every month, we'd all be discussing the games, deciding what to buy and what to avoid. Halcyon Days indeed and deeply deeply missed.

World Soccer for the Commodore 64 contains a 36-year-old troll of Forest fans, which probably hasn’t been documented until now.

Tomorrow’s my birthday, which means it’s 36 years since I was given my own Commodore 64. We were pretty skint but my Dad found the money for that somehow (£159.99 World Cup pack in 1990!). And here I am nearly four decades later, still messing about on this sensational computer. Thanks, Dad.

We were sent this intro from a Mayhem crack, which on booting reproduces Commodore Format art editor Ollie Alderton’s magazine advertisement for the game. It featured in both CF and Commodore Force.

A lot of what Commodore say here confirms what I think the larger problem with this direction is: Christian is trying to piggyback his own thing about digital detox etc etc on the Commodore brand. It is not the right vehicle. I have no beef with the guy and want C= to succeed but this ain’t it.
