I magicked my first solo show & while I knew doing comics in a gallery setting would be different, I couldn't realise how f***ing special. Community absolutely showed up on this adventure through the heart, but also stayed & talked about symbols & meanings in the texts. I am very lucky.
One of the first pages I ever did, starting out with comics. I'd do it differently now, but overall, I still think it works as is. That's the beauty of looking back.
Stories unravel sometimes, out of control. It's the very best feeling. Now & then, images unravel too. How do you get your #illustration in flow state? I have to remove the hesitation through hope & confidence boosts!
