Today on Gold Star Mothers and Families Day, we honor the parents, families, and loved ones of U.S. service members who died while serving in the military.  We owe a debt of gratitude to these service members and their families. Your service will never be forgotten.

Yesterday, veterans in my district gathered to protest Trump’s war in Iran. This illegal war, voted for by Tom Barrett, is raising gas and grocery prices, while our VA funding is being cut. We need to put a stop to this stupid war and bring that money home to Michigan.

Last night, we learned Elon Musk is pouring money into Michigan to defeat our movement. Musk, Trump, and their MAGA allies are spending millions against me. It means our people powered campaign standing up to corporate power is scaring them. And we're not going to back down.

It was an honor to speak at Reproductive Freedom for All’s event in Lansing last night, standing alongside so many Michiganders fighting to protect access to healthcare and to keep healthcare decisions between you and your doctor.

We are forging a new path on AI and people are taking notice. Yesterday, we released our new Stop Tech Overreach Plan. We are going to put a STOP to advanced AI development and data center construction. And put protections in place to keep humanity at the center of this story.

My Stop Tech Overreach Plan holds AI companies accountable to the people. The STOP plan calls for a pause to data center and AI development. Then we must pass a national AI compact with protections for jobs, education, the environment, and absolutely NO taxpayer funded bailouts for AI executives.

I am not afraid of Big Tech companies spending against me. No corporations will ever stop me from fighting for the people of Michigan.

We wrote this plan for the students, teachers, farmers, workers, and everyday Americans who are being left behind in this AI arms race.  We need to put a STOP to AI and data center development and keep the American people at the center of this story.

Tom Barrett voted for tax breaks for data center developers, helping the rich get richer at the expense of Michiganders. I’m proud to support this legislation to ensure data center developers pay their fair share. Mid-Michigan needs someone who fights for them. That's why I'm running for Congress.
