Last night, we celebrated an unprecedented win for people-first politics in Michigan. But today, I want to make one thing very clear: THE JOB’S NOT FINISHED. The mission is to beat Tom Barrett and send an unbought, independent-minded representative of mid-Michigan to Congress.

Progressive candidates' primary wins stir debate about midterm electability

There are several races in midwestern states where progressive candidates appear to be leading in the Democratic primaries. A debate is raging about electability in the general election this fall.

Our campaign has continued to surge despite the millions of dollars in ridiculous smears misrepresenting my record. We've built real relationships that can't be bought by dark money lies. Our movement is ready to weather the attacks from the GOP and beat Barrett in November.

Three Michigan Planned Parenthood locations are closing because of federal cuts Tom Barrett voted for. Thousands of patients will now drive further and wait longer for basic healthcare. In 2022, Michigan voted for reproductive freedom. Now, Barrett is voting to defund the clinics providing it.

Like most MI07 voters, I don't own any million-dollar homes in DC. And unlike my opponents, I didn't have to move here to run. Working families in MI07 deserves a representative who understands what they're going through.

Silicon Valley billionaires want to build a $2 billion data center in a small Michigan town. It would raise prices, tank home values, and threaten peoples' way of life. The company is trying to strong arm residents and is offering them just 0.5% of the project cost to stay quiet.
