My uncle fought with Patton. I have letters he wrote home describing the horrors he faced, the things he saw. Trump has never, ever been anything but a failson, a.grifter and a bully. It's disturbing that the stupidest and most ignorant man in the world is out there trying to control everything.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said no to a plan that would have cut $3.3 billion in U.S. military aid to Israel. The amendment was brought by Republican Thomas Massie and Democrat Ro Khanna, and Jeffries told House Democrats that it was too broad because it could also affect humanitarian aid, refugee resettlement, peace-building work, and U.S. embassy operations. He also said it could make it harder for the United States to deal with groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.The timing sparked a lot of attention because federal records showed that AIPAC PAC sent two earmarked payments on May 20, 2026, totaling $149,300 to the Jeffries Battleground Protection Fund. Those payments were listed as an earmark of billionaire investor Daniel Och. Reporting also says Jeffries had received $250,000 from AIPAC’s PAC earlier in the cycle.Jeffries said he would vote against the amendment, but he did not whip the vote, which meant Democrats could vote their conscience. When the House voted on July 15, 2026, the amendment failed 104 to 314. The fight showed how split Democrats are on Israel, with some backing Jeffries and others saying U.S. aid should be cut or changed.
