“What’s that supposed to mean? Are you just saying stuff because it sounds cool?” Sakura gave a suspicious squint as if she were not guilty of the very same crime countless times before, especially while emulating a certain world warrior.

❝Oh yeah, more like a two month hibernation. But that’s neither here nor there.❞ She rolled her eyes, absolutely NOT acknowledging how foolish she just looked there. ❝Careful, twig. Don’t want the wind to take ya away now!~❞

“Wh-… Were you taking a nap?” . . . 💧 Could have fooled her. Maybe that ‘cool’ and ‘mysterious’ demeanor was actually just a nice trick for falling asleep with your eyes open…

姫ZΛKI 葵@aoihimezaki.bsky.social · 2y ago

Fucking snaps awake. ❝Wha- Huh?! Jesus Christ, finally!❞

“I’m trying to figure that out myself. Some days, he’s trying to fight me, some days it’s just random advice.” Sakura gives a shrug and shakes her head. Sometimes it was just impossible to get a read on the guy. But it was impossible to dismiss his passion. “It’s weird!”

Here's Spidey!@marvelousquips.bsky.social · 2y ago

"Hibiki-san?" Spidey repeated, brows furrowing in thought. The name sounded familiar. And then the description of 'wannabe' sealed it. "Oh! That Dan guy! I remember him! The one in the pink gi, right? No offense... But what kind of training is that?"

( ᴏᴏᴄ ) it’s been a hot minute since i’ve played sakura so i hope shes up to snuff

“Oh… I thought it just kinda… hopped across the board and stuff? Eheh… Okay, so… it’d be a little more like this?” Sheepishly, she moves the knight in that ‘L-direction’ he spoke of. It’s not the brightest move but at least she knows how it works now.

𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙮. 𝘾@cosmicvirtuosoc.bsky.social · 2y ago

" Oh you mean the knight. Knights move in an L-shape, which means they can move two squares in any direction vertically, as well as jump over certain pieces when an opposing piece enters its space, take your best shot".

“I’ve gotten plenty stronger! You can count on that! I’ve even been spicing up my fighting style too!” Sakura had been training to the max as always. Even as the years went by, she always retained her burning motivation for the art of fighting. And just a few of her quirks too…!

"Yeah, it was a complete and total mess... Still feel bad for judging Ken Masters like that." Shaking his head a tad and letting out a sigh, he'd then go ahead and look at Sakura with a grin. "I wonder how much stronger you've gotten since the last time we met!"

“Hey, I’m not the one sneaking up on girls in their swimsuits!”

Little does he know, he’s the very thing that’s got her so excited. A bend of the knees, arms locked together — she’s in fangirl mode again. “Ryu! It feels like it’s been forever! You get into any tough fights recently?! Learn any new skills?!”

ㅤ ㅤArms crossed, sternly scanning the environment. Whatever she seems so excited about, he wants to see it, too. ㅤ

Whuh-… Oh, c’mon! I was just tying my shoes!

Kanzuki Karin.@kanzukiryu.bsky.social · 2y ago

I see you.

“Up and at ‘em, Sakura!”

“You know it!” She taps her converse against the concrete with a smidge of attitude, swinging her arms back and forth as if getting ready for a fight. But she relaxes and gives a friendly nod to the fighter. “I’m glad everyone got out of that okay though.”

𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐧@sandblasterluke.bsky.social · 2y ago

"Yeah, I'm alright! That Nayshall incident was a little wild, but everyone made it out in one piece!" Brushing the back of his head, he'd then lightly chuckled a bjt. "What have you been up to all this time? Still training?"

“It seems like everybody’s showing up but Ryu… Man…..”

“Uh oh……….” She’s about to receive a ‘lecture’ from the ‘master’ again, isn’t she…?

“Huh?? Oh!! Yeah, you!” Sakura nervously rubbed the back of her head, feeling a little like a dummy for not recollecting their street fight. She’d never forget a face! Well, on a good day. “Hope you’re doin’ okay!”

@ganbarusakura.bsky.social "Ah, I remember you a little bit! You were the girl that kinda kicked my ass in a school uniform!" Of course, quite a bit of time had passed since their last encounter...

“Knew it! Then I know I’ll be just as good at the original!”

"The second is definitely better. More fleshed out than the first."

Streeeeetttch… Gotta work these muscles up before a good workout!

“I’ve only played Star Gladiator 2, but it’s probably the same thing as the first one, right?”

Sean Matsuda @shoryucannon.bsky.social · 2y ago
