#WackyWednesdayArt I found another one of the many cow statues scattered throughout San Luis Obispo. This one isn't so wacky, but I added it to my collection. ##ECK #CowsOfSLO #CowStatue #Local #WestCoastKin

A cow statue is mounted to an iron plate that's mounted to a wood plank trailer along the side of a street. The cow is half pale pink (as the background), and the other half of the cow is turquoise. There is a white banner painted on the cow's side that says, "Find love in all the local places." There are also some small paintings depicting the ocean, farming, the Mission that is in San Luis Obispo and historical buildings. The front half of the cow is predominantly pink with turquoise horns. Located in San Luis Obispo, California.

$A steep limestone escarpment rises abruptly from an unbroken forest of dark green conifers, its pale gray cliffs fractured into towers, ledges, and vertical faces shaped by countless cycles of freezing, thawing, and erosion. Beyond the nearer ridge, rounded mountains still hold broad patches of late-season snow, fading into more distant peaks along the horizon. Overhead, the sky is dominated by long, parallel bands of high cloud that stretch from horizon to horizon, their smooth layers interrupted by scattered white cumulus drifting between them. The alternating ribbons of blue sky and cloud create a striking sense of depth and movement, drawing the eye across the landscape. The forest blankets nearly every slope, flowing around rock outcrops and filling the valleys with an almost continuous canopy. Bright sunlight breaks through the cloud layers to illuminate portions of the cliffs and upper ridges while leaving much of the forest in softer shadow, emphasizing the rugged relief of the mountains and the immense scale of the terrain.$
