Around this date in 1986 I got my Atari ST. I learned how to crack games on it pretty quickly by learning what the "trap" commands were doing in this book. I learned all that system level stuff just to get games for free.

#C64 day - Game 7 - Beach Head Another cool multi-part game. Nowhere near as polished as Raid on Moscow, but I think it might be a lot earlier. It certainly feels it. Each screen is simple and quite limited but very effective and fun in their own right.

#C64 day - Game 6 - Space Taxi What a cute game! It's like Oids meets Crazy Taxi as you thrust your way around the screen ferrying passengers between the different landing pads. Super precise and landing just right feels very satisfying.

#C64 day - Game #5 - Wizard of Wor Kind of like Berzerk played in a Pac-man maze. Solid game, but simple. Lots of fun to be had and I liked it when the super quick boss appeared by surprise at the end of the stage.

#C64day game #4 - Citadel Another absolute gem. I had no idea what I was doing at first, and treated it like an arena shooter. It's actually a little like Paradroid. Shoot the baddies, or use double press and hold fire and you can capture them. Whenceforth they become a little buddy that follows.

#C64day Game #3 - Raid Over Moscow Complete failure. Jabbed some keys, got my aircraft off the ground, ploughed straight into the hangar doors. I think my ego is writing cheques that my gaming skills can't cash. To the manual!

#C64day Game #2 - Turbo Outrun Thanks to @logrus.uk for the recommendation! Loggy did warn me that the recommendation was more for the music than anything else, and I can see why. Jeroen Tel reaching right into your brain and tickling the bit that makes dopamine (as is his wont).

#C64day Game 1 - Creatures I thought I'd give myself a strict time limit on each game so I could get through a decent amount before I needed to stop. That was 45 minutes ago. What a game! If you'd told me this was made for a souped up 'C64 Next' or something, I'd believe you.
