When I learn that a writer about whose work I had been curious has used AI to help her write her latest, forthcoming novel, that invalidates her previous novels for me, too, and she becomes a writer I will never read. Which is fine! There are so many writers! But I'm bummed about it anyway.

The poet is necessary for the creation of the poem, and (except, perhaps, with regard to the poem intended only for performance by its author) irrelevant to its functioning.
