Excellent biography of Linkin Park: exhaustive, but not exhausting, even-handed, and very well-written. (Even though I disagree with his opinions about three of the albums...) Out now, published by Hachette.
Here’s what I will say about my beloved and maddening Philadelphia 76ers: That performance had the same energy as the team that started 4-0. If they can bottle that energy, this series will not be a blowout
No matter how this season ends, it is worth noting that Valdez Edgecombe Jr. is a Sixer, which means that this season is a success

Costa Samaras@costasamaras.com · 7mo agoInstead of whatever this is, we should have a government getting lots of new homes and apartments built, lots of clean energy built, lots of high speed rail and transit and bike lanes built, human rights for everyone, economic & healthcare opportunities for all, & innovation that leads the world.
We’ll see what this actually amounts to, but one thing their two games have made abundantly clear: this Sixers team is not afraid of the Knicks one bit
