Can’t eat a sandwich until you subscribe to sandwiches. Can’t eat today’s sandwich until it has applied daily sandwich updates. Sandwich now has adverts even though you paid for ad-free sandwich. Can pay again to have less sandwich adverts. Now you can eat the sandwich, but it’s smaller.

A recent survey found that 92% of U.S. adults have delayed or avoided medical care due to high costs. Meanwhile, a new study from Yale estimates that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year. If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have universal healthcare.

We are projected to spend $268 BILLION on deportations — costing the average American taxpayer about $2,358 (according to @epi.org). But somehow we “can’t afford” to make sure hungry children can eat or ensure everyone, no matter their income, can access healthcare. Priorities.
They didn’t have one before the war started. Weren’t in any position to have one for many years when Trump tore up the Obama deal. But Netanyahu wanted us to go to war with Iran, as he has for decades, & claimed Iran was “weeks away”, just as he has for decades. So here we are.

Good morning friends. In New Hampshire visiting my daughter & family and last night I heard the most terrifying story from her friend about him and his team’s escape from AbuDabi when they were stranded there on a stop during a trip to India at the start of the Iran war. Truly lucky to be alive!
