Hey, I'm Stets! I'm a multi-medium worldbuilding artist! I love to make characters and write stories, so most of the stuff you'll see here will be related to my creations! Please note that even though I'm a SFW artist, this account is intended for mature audiences! 🌐 okstets.carrd.co 🌐

An infographic depicting an overview of my profile.

At the top of the page, a large logo with orange text reads "OkStets", with the additional information including the phrases "He/Him", "2D/3D Artist", "Writer", and "Adult".

Below the header is a digitally rendered 2D illustration of a Cinereous vulture character taking a step out of the frame and extending a wing. He's smiling while making eye contact with the camera. His feathers are various shades of tan and brown, while his beak and skin are blue. He's wearing a newsboy cap and a green scarf. The text besides him reads "Reece (my sona)" with an orange arrow pointing at his head.

Next to the illustration is a textbox that reads as follows:
"Hey, I'm Stets! I'm an artist who creates both 2D and 3D artwork. I love to design characters and write stories, so most of the content you'll find on my page will be related to those!"

At the bottom of the page, there's text that reads as follows: "These are my main worlds that I write for! The majority of my characters are from these stories!" Next to this text box are three different images depicting drawings based on each world with captions stating the names of each one. The leftmost caption reads "Bioweapons", with the image above it depicting a grizzly bear/wolf hybrid walking through a forest with dramatic lighting as ravens fly above him. The middle caption reads "Seldom Flows the River", with the image above it depicting an anthropomorphic pizzly bear wearing a detective uniform while smoking a cigarette, his back turned to the camera with a newspaper on the ground in front of him. The rightmost caption reads "The North Sea", with the image above it depicting a blue dragon with golden accents smiling while looking over his shoulder.

My art output is going to be a bit slow for a while but it's gonna be worth it. I'm shifting full focus to a specific art project that I'm very excited to finish and show off.

!! in need of support !! in desperate need of help to pay my mares boarding fee, i had all the money saved up for it but due to complications i no longer have that money. i need to make up 800$ and work isnt enough for me to cover it. if anyone is able and willing to help, it would mean a lot!

hello everyone! im sure you've all been wondering where i am, im alive at least haha. between work and finishing comms ive not had much to post, and honestly ive not had the motivation to. i thought things would get back to normal after i got home but i suppose not - continued below

I think my next art trade openings will probably be during the second week of September since I'm finally getting out of my burnout. If any mutuals think they may be interested in trading around then lmk and I can tag you when I make the post!

Next time I open up art trades I may be looking to get some art of them? Beau is still going to be my main priority for my next trade slots but I'm really happy with how their design came out so I kind of want to get some art of them as well.

FINALLY finished those concept sketches for my aeromorph! I turned them into a (very ugly) temporary ref sheet, I'll give them a more refined ref in my normal ref layout once I'm positive I won't change anything else about their design. [ #oc | #ocart | #art | #anthro | #anthroart | #aeromorph ]

A rough reference sheet depicting an anthro aeromorph character. Their metal plating is yellow, orange, and silver, with sea green synthetic material in between the plating. The left sketch shows a front view of their design with their wings outstretched, the middle sketch shoes them with a happy expression while opening their stomach hatch, the right sketch shows a back view with their wings spread out, and the bottom right sketch shows their wings retracted into their back.

This is what I'm considering for the wings now since I'm having issues with the arm wings mechanically. They would be segmented and extend from open slots in their back while in use, and when they retract it would rotate towards the tail and nest into itself. Does this seem like a decent compromise?

Rough WIP but working on a refined design for my aeromorph OC. I like what I have here so far, but they're reading WAY more robot than aeromorph right now. If anyone has any advice for how I can balance that a bit better feel free to lmk!

I'm still kind of interested in the idea of making a handful of character designs for practice and just giving them out to mutuals for free. I didn't get to do as many custom OC designs as I wanted to for AF this year since not many people I knew had them open.

I'm thinking about maybe abandoning the arm wing idea for now and just giving them back wings. I think the arm wing idea works really well for anthro birds, but after experimenting with it a bit it just kind of feels clunky with robot characters.
