Originally published as a two-volume series in Japan, our team combined all of the cuteness into ONE spectacular standalone in A Cat Is a Cat in Any Life (2-in-1 Edition). With French flaps, sprayed edges, and beautiful 4-color printing, it’s the PURRfect read! 🐾😺

Obligatory intro post! I’m Ti (pronounced “Tea”) & I’m the design director at Square Enix Manga & Books. I’m an artist of many mediums and my cats are Tortellini, Char Siu Bao, & Momo. My husband and I foster cats and we have fostered 60+ cats in almost 6 years. My favorite Final Fantasy is Tactics.

Tortellini is a fluffy tortoiseshell cat with a distinct strip of light fur that goes from her forehead to her nose that makes her look like she’s sniffed lines of coke. She is by far the stupidest cat I've ever met and her stare is void of any intelligence behind her pupils. She has a fluffy dark tail and fluffy dark paws, with a glorious collar of fur.Char Siu Bao is a small black cat that weighs only 6 pounds. Her proportions are a little squat but otherwise she’s a normally proportioned cat, just sized down. She is lying on her side, with her curled paws in the air. She is snoozing and looking alarmingly cute.Momo is a tuxedo sent from Hell to torture us via an infernal contract we unknowingly signed. He’s giving a suspicious look lying on the couch, with one leg in the air and you can see his black paw pads. He’s airing his anus at you. He’s the worst cat we’ve ever met and he’s ours forever. He’ll live to 25 and when his time above is done, a hole will open up in the ground and he’ll go “Contract fulfilled” and dive into the hole to go back home.
