What is the film that came out before you were born that you’ve watched the most times? ( a week before I was born, in fact )

Listening to the Baseball Draft episode of The Big Picture the other day and @seanfennessey.bsky.social I was really hoping someone was going to choose The Warriors for their Wild Card. Alas.
I just finished watching GRAVE ENCOUNTERS from 2011 and holy shit what an amazing example of the found footage genre. I strongly recommend a watch. @shudder.com once again provides.
The blue film with @laurenjane.bsky.social many years ago. One of our first films.
Just rewatched John Carpenter's THE THING with @laurenjane.bsky.social and I'm hard pressed to think of another movie that stands up to as many repeat viewings as this one does. An absolute unquestionable masterpiece of suspense, suspicion, and dread.
Don't worry, my loves: Autumn is coming. You will be able to love your leather jackets again.
After some consideration I’ve come to the conclusion that I am definitely not a sword guy. I am, however, a Hammer Man.
Okay I can confirm that having a little black kitten curl up on your chest and purr unrelentingly is definitely a top ten life experience.

I had the great pleasure of being interviewed by @mattearoach.bsky.social on CBC Bookends about VILLAIN, some of the weirder work experiences I've had, and supervillainy as a career. www.cbc.ca/listen/live-...

For the first time in... Ever? I'm considering some kind of corrective eye surgery. I've enjoyed being a glasses guy for the past six years or so - I stopped wearing contacts over the pandemic and leaned into the Round & Rimless aesthetic. But now I'm thinking maybe correction would be good.
Got an eye exam this afternoon and they used the drops, now everything is too damned bright and has rainbow auras
Tomorrow, in Toronto, at 20:04, Autumn begins. Plan accordingly.
Yesterday I grabbed Incidents Around the House by @joshmalerman.bsky.social from my Seasonally Appropriate To Read pile and by 33 pages in I was hooked. Read it in an afternoon.
I'm really happy that so many of my friends & past colleagues have been enjoying TIFF this year -and- I'm really happy that I don't have to engage with it at all.
20 year old me wouldn't even recognize me today.

RTFM is always a good listen and this episode is no exception. Be warned: this will absolutely get you back to work on that game you've* been working on for a while but put to one side cos, you know, life gets in the way sometimes, you know how it goes... But yeah, listen to the episode. (*I've)
Aaron King@aaronmfking.bsky.social · 2mo agoThere's a new episode of RTFM, an RPG book club podcast. @posatahchips.gaygothvibes.online joins @snaxwell.bsky.social and me to talk about weird espionage RPG FIST. We recorded this long ago. Life erupted. No idea what we said. Please listen and (don't!) tell me! open.spotify.com/episode/3rwU...
