@plsknotthisagain.bsky.social and I went to Spain to see the solar eclipse. Drew some memorable moments. #furry #furryart #eclipse

1. The heat was unbearable. We arrived in Barcelona in the middle of a heatwave and it was humid all the time. Ceiling fans and AC became our new gods.
2. I swam in the sea for the first time in my life. The Mediterranean sea was so salty and so unbelievably turquoise and blue! The water was very warm and the waves were high and fun to play in.
3. The main reason we went to Spain: the total solar eclipse. We watched it on the east coast, so the totality lasted for around 1 minute and 38 seconds. Almost as soon as the totality ended, the sun started setting below the horison. No photos can ever do it justice, it just looks so unreal.
4. Once we were done crying over the eclipse, we ordered pizza and beer and headed to the shore and feasted while watching Vinesauce Joel. The pizza was so gooood.

the interior of a small radical bookshop. A doorbell hangs above the wooden door with a brass handle. Sun coming in through the two dirty paned windows is illuminating all the dust lazily floating through the air. A cute nerdy mouse girl greets you from over the counter, her giant round ears barely poking from behind the cash register. The counter is decorated with various stickers. It feels like a safe space. You step off the rough green door mat, onto the old creaky wooden floor. A small round multi-layered table in the middle of the room shows off the newest arrivals. If you put a deck of cards on top of it, it could pass as a wedding cake for clowns. As you walk past it, the faded red fluffy carpet muffles your steps. "Why would someone grow beans in a bookshop?" you wonder as you pass the window with three flower pots on its sill, but decide not to pursue this particular knowledge. "Feel free to browse," squeaks the cashier at you. "If you want to give anything a test run there's the reading area", she adds and points to a green sofa that was probably gifted by some stoner's angry dad. It's been patched, ripped and sewn many times, giving it a very homely feel. A few magazines are lying on a small wooden coffee table in front of it.
The entire space is pierced in the middle by wooden stairs going up into the attic. A hand drawn "Employees Only!" sign lets you know that only employees can go up the stairs. You wish to explore the rest, find out if it's as nice as what you've seen so far, but unfortunately all you can reach is a metal rack full of dictionaries and a single bookshelf filled with books about planes. You wish to explore the rest, but there is nothing as the author of the picture you're in hasn't figured it out herself yet.
