Just a complicated mentally ill trauma survivor trying to make his way in the Universe. BPD. PTSD. OCD. A few of my life colleagues. Star Wars helps me navigate. 💙 stonedstarwars.com tiktok.com/@stonedstarwars
I think the Princess of Alderaan is making a sensible proposal.
At the beginning of TLJ, Rose stops Big 'F' from abandoning the Resistance. At the end she stops him from giving up his life for the Resistance. This change is because of the failure on Canto Bight. It's an outpouring of the lesson Yoda teaches Luke. Failure is the teacher. He decides DJ is wrong.
The Last Jedi is like a soothing balm I frequently return to for healing, encouragement & general support. It always surprises me though I've seen it more than 300 times. Some people watch YouTube "fans" talk Star Wars, I just watch Star Wars. My mind is open for receiving. Live free, join in!
"A confused, angry man radicalized by powerful forces whispering in his ear, an heir to generational trauma." – Adam Driver on Ben Solo
Some people still say that Rian disregarded plot points from The Force Awakens. Snoke tells Hux of Ren; it's time to complete his training. When he first sees him after those words are spoken he has a wound across his body, he's killed Han & lost to Rey. He's broken. Snoke humiliates. Things change.
Alec Guinness, Mark Hamill & Richard Marquand. Possibly discussing a certain point of view. My favourite scene in the original trilogy. Perspective is everything. The biggest lesson Star Wars has taught me is; one man's Rebel is another man's terrorist. Star Wars is as high as it gets. Like me.
Ben Solo is the most relatable character for me. A raw, visceral look at BPD traits in a galaxy far away. The identity crisis, the abandonment, the 'all or nothing' volatility—Adam Driver nails the pain of a soul in conflict. Rian didn't give us a cartoon villain; he gave us a human. Deeply moving.
"No sign of Osha. Or her twin. They must have survived. Somehow." [Mog Adana] It's like poetry right? How most Star Wars now does a "survived somehow", which I see as a beautiful in joke for those who get it & a gentle 🖕 to those who think it's a bad moment because of YouTube. Mogging it all day.
Fans are selective with their "objectivity". Lesbian Space Witches bad, yet more overtly lesbian interactions in Andor, good. Chants in The Acolyte, bad, chants in Andor, good. That chant is about their closed mind set. “Yielding in acceptance, safe in the braid of the old ways.”
So that was how liberty died? With thunderous applause.
Donald Trump is a “corrupt, senile felon” whose fixation on the term superintelligence proves he knows nothing about AI, said Geoffrey Hinton, “godfather” of the technology, in a wide-ranging interview where he doubled down on recent warnings that AI models pose an existential threat to humanity. 😬

Facebook is still serving up a plethora of videos of Tom Cruise meeting, "Superfans" at multiple Digger premières all over the world. It would have been good if these superfans had actually gone to see the movie. I mean he met more people on red carpets than bought tickets. Quiet dignity in failure?

What Ben Solo is thinking about in the (relatively) long agonising build up to his worst decision ever is why The Force Awakens blows away the sheer raw vulnerability of every character. This trilogy's strongest part is that it's always emotionally honest, unusual & real. You know I'm right. Right?
Watching the sequels telling yourself right from the beginning, Rey's a Palpatine but doesn't know it, makes total sense. Bad kid? Ben Solo. Good kid? Good parents? Kind of. We presume. VII, VIII & IX are about when life goes in a completely different direction. That's why they were misunderstood.
Rey started as a vessel with Palpatine heritage in her DNA. In The Force Awakens her erratic fighting style switches between completely ungraceful yet full of rage & emotion. That's how she survived the battles. She taps between her inner good side/bad side constantly. It's beautifully relatable! 💙
What he really needs, is something only you can give him. Absolution.
"THE DEATH OF TRUTH IS THE ULTIMATE VICTORY OF EVIL!" The perception of fake news & the entire playbook the White House is using IS this Mon Mothma quote. Evade. Scatter. Confuse. Question. The monster IS here & he's come to steal all he can. I can do nothing but proclaim to have friends everywhere!
It's the Jedi's fault Jecki died. It's also Qimir’s. Both are responsible. Everything in The Acolyte is different depending on whose point of view we're looking at. Incredible nuanced character based writing. I'd like a steelbook 4K release please. Season 2 too. Call it; 'The Power Of Two'.
“The line separating good & evil passes not through states, nor classes, nor political parties, but through every human heart." [Solzhenitsyn]
My relationship with The Acolyte and The Last Jedi is like this picture. I also am a Hulk.
