Another reminder concerning The Last Jedi. Because of the bullshit most people appear to feel Hamill was unhappy with the film. He disagreed with the premise - but then absolutely supported Rian's vision. Clearly. The Last Jedi is the best version of Luke this OG fan has ever seen. It's the GOAT.

A reminder. The most underrated Star Wars Disney Plus show yet. My favourite. My absolute favourite Star Wars show by a long way. If we get no more I can live with it because this is a gift that always gives. I've seen it all more than 30 times. Each time I try to go with a different point of view.

It was George Lucas' Idea to find Luke in need of a kick start. That's the hero's journey. That's the story. Older failures like me needed that Luke & I'm so grateful that Rian didn't back away from this idea from the imagination of the maker himself. I trust the storytellers. Always. 💔❤️‍🩹❤️

I spoke to a couple of family members & a friend recently about rewatching movies & they don't do it too much. I asked if they agreed with me that films are like albums. You listen over & over again. I watch over & over again. Seems like they didn't. Maybe it's the mental illness. Do you rewatch?

When Natural Born Killers was released about half the audience hated it & half loved it. Fight Club had a very similar reception. You either got it - or you were made angry by it but didn't understand why so interpreted it as dislike rather than a healthy challenge. People are predictable. 🥺

I watched Natural Born Killers the other day and posted how it reminded me of the whole Luigi Mangione craziness and a couple of people were like: f*** you I thought you were a good guy. Being against worshipping somebody for killing someone publicly doesn't mean anything except I'm against killing.

There's an episode of Clone Wars in Season 2 in which the Empire kidnap force sensitive kids & experiment on them in a lab on Mustafar. I think Grogu was probably here at some time. Do you agree? Kind of like how Reva was in the room when Anakin slaughtered her fellow younglings. Symmetry.

I always thought the colour palette was a tad off. Still, I was happy to have a Lando of my own.

Nearly every article concerning The Odyssey can be adequately summed up in this way. I see many people posting links to articles suggesting the arguments around the film are largely negative & said article goes on to quote: "what some people are saying online". Most people are lying to us for money.

Metaphorically this is true. Certainly from my point of view.

Of all of the supporting male performances in The Odyssey - Himesh Patel is my favourite. I hope he gets a nomination along with Eliot Page and John Leguizamo.

The first film I saw about AI was Star Trek The Motion Picture. I was 8. Mankind create a probe capable of evolving & send it into space to learn all it can. It returns to "connect" with the creator & when it encounters mankind it decides to wipe them out as they are an infestation of the Planet. 😲
