Is anyone else playing DON'T WORDLE? After years of playing Wordle, it is breaking my brain. Much harder to NOT get Wordle it turns out. (In this case, you use 6 guesses and must honor all the information gleaned from the previous guesses.)

Proud of Olivia Wilde for recovering so quickly from the onslaught of misogyny that came during her relationship with Harry Styles and the promotion of DON’T WORRY DARLING. That movie is hardly a masterpiece but it did not deserve the intensity of backlash it/she received.

This is a safe space, right? Lately Andrew Garfield has been giving me the ick. He’s obviously handsome and charming but he’s been doing a lot of “aren’t I adorable” mugging in interviews and appearances and it’s crept into his film work. I’m sure I’m alone in this but I had to speak my truth.

Andrew Garfield looking like Barry Gibb

I don't feel sorry for A24 one bit. But I do feel sorry for the talented humans who worked with A24 (like Jesse Eisenberg) who can't get any love for their movies through the cacophony of anti-AI noise.

Guys, I’m a sports fanatic. Seriously. Baseball, football, basketball, tennis— I love it all. And I cannot get into soccer. It’s all tangled legs and kicked shins and flopping and own-goals. It has no flow. They call it the beautiful game but I don’t think it’s beautiful at all! What am I missing?

One legacy of Sex and the City is that you can never use the phrase I couldn’t help but to wonder. Not that I need to use it very often, but it can be an apt phrase, e.g. I couldn’t help but to wonder, if the aliens really came would anyone care? Now I just sound like Carrie writing about Spielberg.
