Hi I’m Kira but most people on the internet call me Betsy 🪗💅🏼
Hi I’m Betsy and I find old songs that might surprise you! Follow along for more!!
So if our family owned car dealership goes under from Trump’s Tarrifs I’m going to have to figure out how to become the primary bread winner. Vaudeville did well in the depression. Maybe it’s my time to step up. One woman vaudeville show anyone?
It’s been a minute since I’ve had some facebook trolls. I’ve missed them.
How big is my crew? Well, you’re looking at it. Just little old me, myself and I.
A whole lot of constituents came to speak to Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick but he only speaks to us when he comes to our community events to shake our hands for photo ops. Congressman please for the love of democracy speak out against what Musk is doing.
I talked to the other Jewish people and we are going to all aim our space lasers at that asteroid to make sure it makes impact with earth. We’re just going to let the planet start over with a clean slate.
“Where do you find these songs?” A comment on almost every Broken Record video. This is a list of song suggestions from all of you from the past month. (Pardon my chicken scratch handwriting) I take screenshots of every song suggestions whether it comes by comment section, dm, email, snail mail, or
The Grammys made me think about how much I miss the love songs of the 1930s. They just don’t write them like they used to. Yes, this is 💯real. #vintage #1930s #musichistory #grammys
FYI: this is why we don’t use the term Asperger’s anymore. Also, Nazi salutes are not an accidental side effect of autism.
My daughter was telling me about a book she’s reading. She said she realized she needed to: “pick up the paste” The what? “The paste. Because you get stuck and it slows you down.” Her father thought the expression was “play it by year” instead of “ear” so this is just genetics I think.
I keep having recurring nightmares that my mom didn’t actually die and we have to tell everyone that came to her funeral that she’s not dead. I think it’s because she was on hospice for so long and we kept having false hope she would finally pass and be at peace.
Okay this one hurt. Wear eye protection when listening to Clarence Carter’s Back Door Santa #christmassongs
So is the movie about Luigi already in early stages of production? Who is playing this kid? Is there a look-alike contest yet?
The @broadwayhusbands.bsky.social invited Betsy over for the holiday meal. There’s no people like show people.
4K tvs are something I just can’t get used to. They give me the heebie jeebies. Why does everything look like a telenovela on these monstrosities?
Last night all 3 of my children (ages 13, 11, and 9) gave fully animated power point presentations of their Hanukkah wish list and then the older one sent a GoWish with links to all the items. While the consumerism worries me, they are going to kill it in the corporate world someday.
I’m thankful for a mother-in-law that forces her family to make a merch video against their will that she directs herself. This family is pretty great. Happy Thanksgiving
Every Thanksgiving we sign this tablecloth and then I embroider it to keep the names from fading. A few signers are no longer with us and there are fewer little kids making original art. It’s my favorite family tradition and such a special heirloom in the making.
Before Wicked Week ends, I am thankful for that time Kristin Chenoweth liked my reel. Happy Thanksgiving! 💕💅🏼🫧
I got “emotional truffle pigged” multiple times today in multiple situations by acquaintances. If you know someone who is grieving or sick and you ask them how they are and they say “fine” maybe don’t tell them they aren’t. Maybe just treat them like normal.
This is hanging at my pediatricians office. They are doing their part to try to convince parents we don’t want Polio to make a comeback.
Tom Lehrer Tuesday Thanksgiving special with Betsy & Bronwyn Song: Post-Thanksgiving Hymn with lyrics by Tom Lehrer set to the tune of We Gather Together. This was written for a 1989 broadcast of Garrison Keillor’s American Radio Company of the Air.
