I had not seen this clip where Tammy Duckworth advises Democrats to "not impeach anybody," "get back to work" and "allow" Donald Trump to "save face" and I would just like to remind the senator from IL that the federal government took 4,000 Chicagoans and murdered a 38-year-old father last fall.

It is authoritarianism 101 to blame all of the ills of society on "those people," a would be tyrant's choose your own adventure of scapegoats depending on time and place. To blame said scapegoats for potential electoral outcomes is more of that same impulse.
