NEW: An ICE flight headed for Moldova turned around over the Atlantic Ocean yesterday and flew back to an ICE hub, returning 15 hours after it left. We don’t know why. Video I obtained from the scene shows 11 exhausted and shackled people disembark. gillianbrockell.com/why-did-this...

Why did this ICE flight turn around over the Atlantic Ocean?

Video shows 11 exhausted and shackled people arrive back at ICE camp airport 15 hours after they left.

This plane landed in Myanmar about three hours ago. This is the third ICE flight to Myanmar this year. Burmese deportees in 2025 were immediately sent to a torture facility next to the airport, according to Myanmar Now. Weeks later, not all of them had emerged.

This likely ICE flight operated by Journey Aviation has taken off and appears to heading for an Asia removal. In May, this aircraft deported people to Myanmar.

Processing DNA for nearly a million people in a year? No problem, ICE says. Attaching a $300 camera to an agent’s vest? Logistical nightmare. That's one of the most remarkable ironies of this great story (based on FOIA requests by @georgetownlaw.bsky.social's Center on Privacy and Technology).

ICE Collected Nearly 1 Million People’s DNA Last Year—Including Young Children

Internal documents show ICE's DNA collection has skyrocketed in the second Trump administration. Now hundreds of thousands of people never convicted of a crime are in an FBI criminal database forever.

There are a number of planes in ICE's charter fleet that I'm monitoring for potential third-country removals today, but the flight patterns are unusual enough that I'm waiting for more info. This one though? This private jet operated by Talon Air is most likely an ICE flight.

Adam O’Neal did exactly what Bezos wanted, Bezos clearly doesn’t care about views anymore, and his departure was sudden. Soooo….seems like maybe a story with the word “allegations” is gonna drop? (I have no inside information, this is mere speculation.)

Days before his abrupt exit from The WaPo, Adam O’Neal was privately boasting that he had pushed the Opinion section further to the right—raising new questions about what really drove his departure. Details in @status.news: www.status.news/p/adam-oneal...
