genuine question, if you modify a realisitc 3d model of an everyday object extremely (removing lots of vertices, swapping certain parts of the meshes, resizing, etc.) would it still be considered a remix?

the thing that bugs me the most is that whoever did the copy did a no-nonsense universally relevant statement for the idea of encouraging everyone to make art (but the games look like shit? like, shittier than if anyone had made something? i mean, this is purely my subjective opinion, but, really??)

i think i'm looking for a paid gig (ideally remote). big gigs are great but i'm down for smaller gigs too. (i'm mainly more useful in image/video editing and illustrations. idk what else i can do but i'm currently organising a festival) if you have any tips or leads i'm keen to hear!

i saw a linkedin post about an illustrator getting a gig offer to fix gen-ai art (ofc it ended badly) and i'm getting tempted to do that but in an obvious way, then i remembered where my thinking was earlier this year.

i had many thoughts fr how much energy to use to stylistic choices (i wanted realism for simplicity & recognisability but i needed to convince myself). in the end what helped me the most was that i decided to make things based on my own irl experiences as a resistance to the ai pilled world.

i think a big AI hang-up i don't see people talk about is simply that i don't want to talk to a computer ever even if there was somehow a completely ethical and environmentally friendly version of it: i don't want to talk to a computer

don't have time nor energy to do the 9 games but you know if the game is a third person 3d, has a horse or some form of violence or puzzle, swords or something else that's sharp, creepy but humane characters, or actually if it's top-down and you're a pixel or some sort, it might go into my list.
