#Retired I'm the longest reigning #critic of the computer #antivirus industry. I debunk #cybersecurity & #cyberwar hype. Bluesky #100,754

I started programming mainframes in 1982 and the operators regularly performed tests to detect failing memory circuit boards. On 28 Aug 26, we saw in real time a dual-hemisphere neurological event (aka #MyoclonicJerk) trigger in sequence his right arm, right/left eyelid, tongue, left arm:

"Will Hegseth call us up to digitally attack our own governor?!?" All those Minnesota Air Guard cyber-warriors I trained in Offensive Cyber Operations, Network Warfare, and <checks #CCAF records> C programming must feel reallllllly conflicted right now…

The U.S. media, mainstream or otherwise, has *always* portrayed America as the damsel in distress despite — or maybe due to? — a longtime saturation of DoD cyber-warriors among our industry ranks (myself included!) both in and out of uniform:

A brief timeline of Iranian cyberattacks on U.S. companies, political figures, water systems and more

Investigators are probing whether Iranian hackers are behind this week's malicious cyber activity against water systems in Minnesota. If they are found to be the culprits, it would not be the first ti...

My story has a handy interactive map where you can see every state's response. I'm going to keep checking in with states about this program. (I'll build a separate map that I'll keep updated.)
