🚪 where the love light gleams drawing based on @missiletoe.bsky.social’s yurious fic “you can plan on me”, also written for today’s Yurimas prompt! #12daysofyurimas #12daysofyurimas2025 #yurimas #sangsoo #상수 #yoosangah #유상아 #hansooyoung #한수영 #omniscientreadersviewpoint #전지적독자시점 #orv

Digital drawing of Han Sooyoung from ORV coming home to Yoo Sangah. Sangah opens the apartment door to find Sooyoung reaching for the knob. Sooyoung looks up at her face, eyes wide and face bloodied, lit from behind from the blueish light of the hallway.

it’s come to my attention that my tumblr post has been crossposted to bluesky, so I’m posting it on my account here #AntiAI #GenAI

recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best.

It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.

uriel at the joongdok wall from anyc 2023 #orv #joongdok

a photo of the giant Joondok wall at Anime NYC, with a cartoon Uriel drawn over it so it looks as if she leans against Dokja’s shoulder. She blushes and sighs wistfully: [oh joondok, we’re really in it now…]

I Am Not Your Asian American Doll: comic originally posted for #AAPIHeritageMonth 2023 (1/2)

A large pair of unsettling eyes with ringed pink irises stare at a nude pink girl with straight black hair. She is clenched in its oversized white fist. Pink hands of various shades reach up from the bottom of the page. Text reads: [FETISHIZATION IS NOT REPRESENTATION IS NOT APPRECIATION IS NOT RESPECT]

A girl with light pink skin and black hair holds a pink glittery mask over her face. It is titled so a single weeping eye is visible. A thick black bar crosses the red background behind her. Text reads: [YOUR GLORIFICATION OF THE PALATEABLE AESTHETICS OF MY CULTURE IS NOT REVERENCE]

A chunky black silhouette stands against a pink background covered in images of singing kpop girl idols. Inside the figure, text reads: [AND EVEN AS YOU MEMORIZE THE PHONETICS OF YOUR FAVORITE KPOP CHORUS YOU STILL MISPRONOUNCE MY LAST NAME]

An assortment of Asian food on pink dishes is arranged on a black background, including shrimp tempura, chicken curry, gyoza, soup dumplings, pork katsu, white rice, miso soup, kimchi, tteokbokki, kimbap, sushi, and ramen. Text reads: [YOU ENJOY EATING OUR FOOD BUT YOU DENY US A SEAT AT THE TABLE.]

your face (1/3) #comic #lgbtcomic #lgbt #wlw #sapphic

Narration: [Ever since you told me you plan to marry him…]
A dark-haired bride and her groom, their faces obscured, lean towards each other, about to kiss. Rose petals drift across the page.
Narration: [...I’ve been talking to lots of other girls!]
Feeb sits in bed, hair held back in a plush bunny-ear headband, scrolling through a dating app with a mischievous smile.

Narration: [Lately, I’ve been chatting with this one girl, a total sweetheart. She loves to bake… shares my hobbies… and looks like she belongs on the cover of a magazine.]
The girl in question turns slightly towards the viewer with a charming smile, though the upper half of her face is left blank. She has wavy light hair.
Narration: [We text everyday!]
Feeb smiles and texts on his phone, the message chat history popping up beside him.

go, go, asahi! some spot illustrations I made for starstruckdove’s fic “laps around my heart” for the #asanoya zine Sunshine and Thunder ☀️🌩️ #haikyuu #azumaneasahi #nishinoyayuu

Nishinoya racing in a blue go-kart, wearing garish a leaf-print shirt, looking delighted Asahi racing in a red go-kart, crying and looking terrified.

Nishinoya and Asahi walking home after dark. Nishinoya is smiling hugely and slapping Asahi's back, holding his bitten popsicle. Asahi looks startled, tears in his eyes, but he is blushing. His popsicle is dripping.
