I haven't known what to say about this. While I never followed her work, I did interview Heather on my podcast, felt it was not a great interview, kinda forgot about it. We've heard about former guests doing shitty stuff, but this takes the cake. I hope her career is over and her daughter is safe.

Heather Thompson-Day, Christian speaker and author, and her husband Seth Day, psychology professor at a Christian university, were reported for child abuse by their own daughter, both were charged with causing injury to a child, and Seth was also charged with sexual assault of a child. 🤬

It's really interesting that baseball is the one major sport that doesn't have any sort of playoffs that would culminate in an annual championship winner. Instead, every year October arrives and baseball just ends.

Can't call it "super intelligence" because every time someone uses that phrase we'll think they are talking about total genius (and famously nice guy) Weird Al.

It's a shame Seattle Kraken center and 2021 2nd overall pick Matty Beniers isn't a household name, because the best nickname for Matthew Stafford is obviously "Matty Veneers".

It's not encouraging that Mariners GM Jerry Dipoto said they don't have a list of manager candidates, that the search starts now. Contrast that with the Seahawks. GM John Schneider maintains files on coaching candidates, so when Pete Carroll was fired he was ready to go interview guys, struck gold.

Very confusing that Primetime is about the show To Catch a Predator, but it has Jeff Zucker playing himself, the man who gave the world The Apprentice, which in hindsight we could rightly call To Elect a Predator.

Finally getting around to watching The Untouchables, and I'm sure this early reaction is a very rare one, but I absolutely would have watched this sooner had I known Charles Martin Smith was in it.
