Having now watched Sir_Superhero’s video on Marvel’s Danger lore? I am pissed off. Marvel editorial were idiots. There is so much you could do with existing Danger lore. I would have loved to read the Exiles book after watching the video if it hadn’t been canned. Thank god for the new editor.

Random question to Xmen fans. If I wanted to give the Claremont run a real shot, where would be a good starting point? And would God Loves, Man Kills work? Or could I get a copy for a friend who enjoys X-Men but isn’t a comics guy otherwise? I thought it might be a nice surprise for the guy #xmen

Just got back from Brand New Day. Genuinely enjoyed that. Honestly glad it’s doing so well. It’s a genuinely good Spidey movie and it just reminds me of why I love Tom Holland.

A friend has talked me into watching Dr Stone. I’m now obsessed after getting to the end of the Season 1 ‘tournament’ arc so to speak. I absolutely love it but it’s becoming an obsession. The same friend also said they’d introduce me to The Great Pretender tomorrow. I really hope I end up liking it.

Having now finished Char’s Counterattack as seen in my little ‘random comments’ thread, that was a very interesting film. I enjoyed a lot of it but parts of it didn’t make a lot of sense. Maybe I should rewatch ZZ before I watch it again. Char was definitely at his most ‘classic char’ since OYW.

Time to watch Char’s Counterattack after all. Interesting if confusing start so far.

With both My adventures with Superman AND Xmen 97 putting up absolutly amazing episodes this week, we are having a great time with animated super hero shows. Superman having Cyborg superman (one of his big villains) and Xmen giving us the origin of Appocolipse. Love the medium of animation.

I like this take even better 😏

I love that they are both just adorable dorks in this show. One mistake too many make with Superman is that they make him more of an ideal than a person and never allow him to just have fun, they think he needs to be inspiration and therefore can never just goof off with his friends.

Happy for the Absolute Batman fans getting an animated addaption... but thats 3 batman shows not including Harley quinn all out at the same time.... Maybe a Wonder Woman cartoon? Lots you can do there? maybe make the definitive version for new people since she dosnt get addapted in her own show?

I can now say I’ve seen all three of the classic Romero Dead trilogy plus the remake of Night. Surprisingly loved all of them. Day is probably my favourite now. Or the Remake of Night from 1990. Honestly really enjoyable. Although I will say Dawn has bizarre pacing

And as for my opinion on the TADC finale? Beautifully done. An excellent example of telling the story through actions and words and craft, not one or the other. The story deserved that ending and I’m glad it got to tell it. Bravo Goose and GLITCH and company. This story will stick with me. #TADC
