Annoying how nothing can be just okay any more, everything has to be brilliant and if it isn't brilliant then it is garbage. If a show has a disappointing, but otherwise perfectly fine season after a really good one, it is treated as a crime against humanity.

Every so often I'll see a random Capaldi era shot and think "Yep, the show peaked here". Even the weakest episodes from this era feel lightyears ahead of what came after.
First episode of Lanterns was rather good, but can't stop giggling at HBO Max instantly trying to load the Ryan Reynolds movie as soon as it finished. Guys, don't piss away the good will you just earned so quickly.

Says a lot about Liefeld that he only sees what he creates as a commodity he can flog to a company to make money. He wants an load of IPs he can live off, but he has no talent for even that or business sense which is why he couldn't even get a Youngblood animated series off the ground in the 90s.
