I'm working on the spiritual successor to the Dog Walker. If you're curious how I write books, want to see the work in progress, make sure to subscribe to the substack. open.substack.com/pub/rianston...
The sequel to best selling, satirical cyberpunk masterpiece, Softbone. It's the world of today, tomorrow. The craziness of this year with 10% gratuity. It answers the question of: What would the world look like if everything that happens now keeps happening? www.rianstone.com/ghost
rianstone.substack.com/p/manifest-d... I've largely stepped away from twitter. Not because of Elon or GOP or whatever people get mad about, but because I'm not about to be a digital serf in someone else's techno feudal mannor.

The year is 2017, maybe 2045, but who is counting? Jake Long, a mild mannered husband, a ball busting wife and a soon to be father is held hostage by a world run by the feminist imperative. i love my wife and kids and i think its great having a family
No one has lit themselves on fire to protest ice, it would be very ironic. Cause ice is cold
Memphis corporate is creative cancer.
I never understand these people who talk about never finishing their books. All you have to do is just not stop writing. I'm finished my 7th in a week or two and I started in February And that's with me doing my own desktop publishing cover design
Most people's books aren't good. They exposition everything, they describe their world too much, and try to describe so much that the readers imagination has nothing left to do. It's not that you guys don't like fiction, you just don't like bad fiction
www.amazon.com/dp/B0DRSRK8G... We've managed to last the whole month and hold our spot in the top 10! Some of the best and newest contemporary fiction, by men, for everyone.
Creativity is, in large part, stealing a bunch of things that no one remembers and putting them together in a way that makes perfect sense after you see it, but you'd have never thought about doing it that way. Nothing is new, no one is original, and that's ok
Surely this place isn't as bad as the rumors suggest.
