95% der türkischen Medien gehören regierungsnahen Unternehmen. Diese Medien ignorieren die Proteste, machen Regierungspropaganda und hetzen gegen Bürgermeister Imamoglu. Die Opposition ruft nun zum Konsumboykott gegen diese Firmen auf. Das kann dem AKP System und Erdogan weh tun.

Die Türkei steht vor einem Scheideweg: Repression und ein noch härterer Autoritarismus oder Demokratie und Rechtsstaatlichkeit. Die hauptsächlich jungen Protestierenden stehen gegen Ungerechtigkeit auf. Sie geben nicht so leicht auf. Mehr in meinem Interview für die ZiB2 heute.
