Question : Easiest way to run 3 music cues from the smallest/simplest device? I'm thinking Go Button but don't have a spare iPhone kicking around. Maybe the Stream Deck app? I have a spare Pixel 3a. Operator is a former SM but won't have access to the device until briefly before the event.

Just used my first tap ticket to get into the metro. Didn't need to have the Chrono app open. So excited to not have to carry a separate card with me anymore!

This Labour Day I was presented a vibe-coded project management package built from the creator's extensive collection of notes and AI history. It had broken everything down into steps, deadlines, and much of the work I would have done myself. I recused myself, despite enthusiasm for the project.

I remember getting my invite to Gmail and using the invites to create additional accounts - two of these are still in use today (first initial dot last name + a junk mail account). Seeing the extra storage tick up on the login page was so impressive. I was such a fan of Google for a long time. ↓

Example 738 of Siri trolling me via the homepod in our kitchen: "Hey Siri, play music." "Sure, here's music picked just for you." - Creep by Radiohead plays.

Netrunner is a really fun game, it has no card scarcity, and you can proxy your entire decks even at the world championship (Oct 2-4 in Montréal!). But the real secret ingredient is the community. It's always an absolute joy to play, be they fresh faces or former champions.

Transit timing happened to work out with an EXO train! This means today I rode the Montreal commuter rail trifecta: REM + Metro + Exo. All using the same transit fare ♥ Might take a VIA train next week to really cap it off (because I'll be heading to another town, not just for funsies).

Recorded a tech run from over my shoulder so I could reference my own GOs in QLab if I needed to. It wasn't exactly clean, but it's still nice to finally have a record of me running a show.

A screenshot demonstrating how to hide reposts from an individual user: Go to their profile, tap the three-dot icon at top right, and select "Hide reposts in feeds" from the drop-down menu.

I just sneezed and followed it up with the loudest, most authentic "merde!" of my life. The French influence is working but it seems to be coming from across the Atlantic. Anyway je serai en coulisses pour Juste Pour Rire ce soir. Première fois mais j'espère que ce ne sera pas la dernière.

@remgrandmtl.bsky.social two days in a row where the train is stuck heading towards A1 around this time. No announcements on the train. The website says everything is fine. No texts. Please work on your notification systems - we can plan alternate routes if we know what is happening!

My chair in this booth: - Gives me a proper view of the stage while my feet touch the ground - Doesn't squeak when I move - Has smooth-rolling wheels - Only got uncomfortable during tech, it's completely fine for the duration of the show Such a rare treat.

Warning: CAF Jet Flyover of downtown Montreal is scheduled today Friday June 12 at 7:00pm for Alouettes home opener.

An image of a Canadian air force jet with text which reads "Jet Flyover downtown Montreal Friday June 12 7:00pm"A representation of the projected flight path of the jets. Using Montrealers' directions: the flights are heading east along Sherbrooke Street from NDG until dipping slightly north along Des Pins to fly over the Alouettes stadium and continue to the southwestern corner of the Botanical gardens.
The path then turns South to loop out over Parc Jean Drapeau, back West to Pointe Saint Charles, and then turns over Saint Henri to go East across downtown for a second pass of the stadium and continues onward past the botanical gardens.A list of text on a blue and purple gradient which reads:

Two jets are scheduled to fly over Percival-Molson Stadium for the Montréal Alouettes home opener game

Game is scheduled to start at 7:00pm

Set an alarm for 6:55pm tomorrow yourself for the loud flyover sound

The jets typically do two passes about 5-10 minutes apart

An asterisked footnote reads: The flyover happens at the end of the national anthems

One fun benefit of my job is getting to work in all sorts of hidden spots around the city. Today's lunchtime view is over downtown.

A photo taken from a balcony with a stone railing, featuring a lightly cloudy sky over downtown Montreal. Notable buildings from left to right are the CIBC building, the Sheraton, 1000 de la Gauchetière, and a few others I don't know the particular name/occupants of.
