Don't you just love it when a brand new (less than a week old) hard drive fails. Those things are expensive as hell now. At least it's under warranty but still, now I need to send it back. At least the array was running in RAID.

I love pride parades and events, but holy smokes, does the sun not like me... I may have forgotten sunscreen yesterday and ooooh boy, are my arms feeling it. My face also has the raccoon eyes going on... I am just pain and suffering.

So hanging around at Christmas dinner. Finding out that I have a family member doing work in sexual health. Sexual health often has an overlap with trans healthcare and ohh look, they are on my directory @trans.au already. Perfect!

The homelab server rack is mostly complete. Just missing a KVM over IP that's in the post and it'll be done for now. It took so long to get finalised but I'm so happy with it.

Just wrapped a full day of recording the regional trans podcast. Keep an eye out for it in the next few months. It should be really insightful.

Love this, I missed my bus because the Transport Victoria website said it left at 6:30, nope. It left at 6:17... Time to annoy my partner and get her to drive me and hour away to get an alternate service... Great work Transport Vic.

Well Centrelink apparently doesn't want my money. I swear they overpaid me but once they got my payslip from my new job, they don't care. Like ok then. Just don't call me a dole bludger later when I spent the time trying to fix it.

Over the weekend, I had one of the weirdest gender euphoria moments. I was packing boxes after PAX (I'm an enforcer) and was thinking, wow, these are heavy. And then one of the guys just came over and was like, "I'll take that" and like gender roles and all that but I appreciated it.

New job is going great! I'm not alone in this office. There's at least 4 trans folks that I know of and I feel so seen. There's an actual diversity focus and I've only been here for a week.

VR is serious business. Had a VR experience with my new job and gave myself a bloody nose.

Why is this rolling media coverage for a random youtuber? Nobody else would get this kind of coverage...

God damn it, someone stole my card details somewhere and now I have to get a new card and dispute $340 of Uber Eats charges... I didn't even know Uber Eats was available in my town.

Yesterday I attended a great session on gendered violence and I wanted to share some of the slides that came from that and just how they impact how we see gendered violence within LGBTQIA+ communities.

Every time I get close to 500 listings for the @trans.au directory, I have to remove one. I'm 2 away and it's been edging me for a week now.

Officially unemployed!

Today's my last day in the office at my current job and it's surreal to think that I may never come back into this building again or see many of these people again.

Today's my Abbieversary! My 6 year anniversary of starting hormones. I'm honestly so proud of how far I've come. It's been a long time coming, but I'm so happy now.
