I am not an expert on these things but it seems politically fraught for the president to use our tax dollars to pay off the people who stormed the U.S. Capital at the same time his tariffs and war are making everything we buy more expensive.
NEW! Trump is creating a $1.8 BILLION dollar terrorist slush fund with our tax dollars to pay his Jan 6 terrorists who beat up police officers and stormed the Capitol. This is exactly the same as if Bin Laden had created a fund to compensate his 9/11 terrorists.
This is not “the Justice Department” creating this $1.7 billion slush fund to hand out to Trump’s criminal supporters. It is Trump’s former criminal defense attorney Todd Blanche handing out your tax dollars to Trump’s co-conspirators and thugs.
