Some Hurt/Comfort sketches from my finished Sketchbook :] I like it when both Grace and Simon can find comfort in eachother But this time Im focusing on Simon getting comforted Get this man a hot cocoa and a hug 🧎🏼 #bloodymary #sketch

Pencil sketch illustration of the characters Simon (Ironlung) and Ryland Grace (Project Hail Mary). Its a night setting, the tones a soft blue. Simon is sitting upright in his bed, seemingly awoken from a nightmare. Grace is sitting on the edge of Simons bed, leaning towards him and holding one of Simons hands against his own chest. Offering his steady heartbeat as reassurance. Simons eyes are closed, he is crying while Grace looks like he might cry himself in empathy. What do they look like: Simon is a middle aged asian man with shoulder length black hair and tan skin. Here he is wearing a black sleep Shirt. Grace is a middle aged white man with unruly short blond hair. He is wearing a white Shirt and dark blue boxer shorts.Pencil illustration of Grace and Simon holding eachother in a comforting embrace. Both are crying and clinging to eachother, leaning their foreheads together. In the backround is a nightsky and some stars.Unfinished very rough pencil sketch of Simon sitting curled up on the ground. Grace is sitting next to him, a little helpless and worried.
