I saw #IronLung last night so here are my 💫thoughts💫: The simplest way I can describe this movie is extremely cool but incredibly frustrating. It was really effective in building mood. I felt anxious and claustrophobic. Mission accomplished. I was engaged at all times, even through slow parts.

The Horrors persist but so do-- The Horrors persist but The Horrors The Horrors *sucks air through teeth* Man, that's, like, a lot of Horrors. A lot more Horrors than normal. I was led to expect that-- less Horrors, in general, you know? Is there, uh-- a bathroom? No? Oh, this is gonna be bad.

I have two wolves in me. One wants me to listen to heavy music with thoughtful, poetic lyrics and intricate instrumentals that showcase true musicianship. The other is absolutely obsessed with Katseye right now. I am powerless to deny her. I simply must dance and that’s all there is to it.

Just thinking about how yesterday I was in the car provided by my job (org name, division, and seal clearly marked), BLASTING Sleep Token. And it just makes me laugh. Someone sees a very official vehicle, out on business, and then it’s my corporate goth ass behind the wheel, vibing to VORE.

My Godzilla Minus One thoughts: I loved that it told an impactful, meaningful, human story with Godzilla as a manifestation of grief and guilt as well as a big, scary monster. The destruction was emotionally devastating — not just spectacle — and the characters kept me invested. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
