4/4 Becoming the College of Intensive Care Medicine is an important step forward, but it's a marker, not an endpoint. Much work lies ahead to keep improving care for the patients and families who depend on it. This is your College, and we're excited for what comes next. #IntensiveCareMedicine
3/4 As a College, we commit to greater advocacy, to our values of Courage, Compassion and Excellence, and to promoting education, standards, policy and research. Most importantly, to improving outcomes for our patients and their families.
2/4 The College represents our 5,000 members across a growing specialty: the doctors who lead and deliver critical care, Advanced Critical Care Practitioners and Critical Care Pharmacists. United by a shared purpose: caring for the critically ill and supporting their families.
1 July 2026 marks a defining moment for our specialty: the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine is now the College of Intensive Care Medicine. When the Faculty was formed in 2010, becoming a College was always the ambition. Today, we're proud to say we've achieved it.
