Kotaku parading that garbage "recompilation" Generation 1 Pokémon project is genuinely upsetting. I was hoping the communities would reject vibe coded garbage, but these people are now intentionally hiding the usage and even lying that it's hand-written to peddle their slop onto others.

I moderated a panel with David Ellison, back when he was just in charge of Skydance, and told him backstage that I loved the novel space station design in Star Trek: Beyond, a movie Skydance was an exec producer on. Ellison had no reaction and seemingly no interest, just the usual dead-eyed stare.

@lordcognito.bsky.social Listening to this week's Unlocked with you on it! During the show you asked why gaming is the only medium where physical media is up in the air. IMO it's because the playback of these games is by and large determined by the console-makers. We have exceptions like- 1/3
