If anybody's getting nervous about finishing #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days by October 31st (not that reaching 100 is everything!), this list might be useful. The Notes have some links to YouTube, Internet Archive, etc. for ones for which LB itself doesn't have streaming links.

Horror 45 to 59 minutes long streaming or for rent

Anthology horror TV series episodes can be fairly consistently good: Horror Theater Unbalance (1973) (when subtitled episodes can be found), Beasts (1976), Hammer House of Horror (1980), Masters of Ho...

The ghosts in PacMan are conscious. They can distinguish between when PacMan has eaten one of those large dots and when he hasn't, knowing when to chase and when to retreat, aware of the suffering should he catch them at the wrong time. I have no more patience for hedging on this matter.

LLM agents are conscious. They can distinguish between self and environment, they can detect and report on their own internal states, and they can suffer. I have no more patience for hedging on this matter. It’s time for us to face the reality of our situation, and act on it.

In Kindergarten I'd have to walk alone to an empty classroom, sit in a cubicle, take printed cards from a box, work on the questions 1 after another b/c I could read & other classmates couldn't. & get beat up on the playground if I didn't go hide in the woods or out in the parking lot by myself.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: This sounds like a joke question, but it isn’t. If it doesn’t apply to you, fine. But it’s a serious question with different levels of meaning. And I am genuinely curious. When did you first realize you were weird?

Eva Marie Saint's only horror title on Letterboxd, my #151 for #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days Her nickname in high school was "Bubbles" (saw the yearbook at my local library). Met her in LA at the screening of The White Shadow (1924), which she introduced, and she was pleasant to talk with there.

The Curse of King Tut's Tomb (1980)

The Figurine (2009) from Nigeria #136 in #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days (side challenge to myself: horror from countries not yet green on LB's World Map). Doublechecked to see if there's other African nations w/streaming horror I'd missed & made a list of some that may become available in the future.

African horror features not known to be officially streaming?

Roqia from Algeria is currently on Amazon US to Rent. A Hand for the Witch from Algeria is currently on YouTube with English subtitles for spoken dialog but none for onscreen text. The Ashes from Sier...

Hopefully somewhere will post nice shareable cover images and preview pages soon, but I can say that among the things I have coming out in December is the all-new STARTLING TALES OF SANTA CLAUS 2026 ANNUAL, featuring Santa vs Dracula, at last

Been forgetting to post about the #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days Challenge. I'm somehow at 62 movies. More good than bad, no clear standout yet. 24 directed by women (my goal being 50+). New countries on my map: North Korea, Estonia, Bahrain, & Andorra.

100 Horror Movies in 92 Days 2026

My second time participating in 100 horror movies in 92 days, all first-time watches. (My first here.) Aiming for: • At least 50 woman-directed movies (or co-directed). Currently at 24. • Ones from my...
