The LOHP is a local charity, dedicated to the restoration, conservation and promotion of enjoyment of the wildlife and landscape of the Little Ouse valley on the Suffolk/Norfolk border for the benefit of wildlife, people and climate.

If coming to the Exhibition on Monday the B1113 is closed during the day outside the Crosskeys pub for a classic car event. still able to access Hinderclay from the North past the Poultry Factory, or via Thelnetham, but if coming from Botesdale best to come here past Rickinghall Village Hall

On Sunday we held the Guided Nature Sensory Walk with the special sensory element being undertaken where people could be blindfolded and walk with a guide around New Fen experiencing the sounds, smells and feel underfoot of the fen. Thank you to Mark and Bernadette Chamley who took the photos.

Some photos to end the week - Peacock caterpillars on nettles in Reeves Meadow (photo Rowena Langston) The Lows is transformed this year by Ox-eye Daisies. There are other flowering plants notably Yellow Rattle. The Knapweed strips should be good for butterflies when they open. (Photo Nick W.)
