How I've felt after every one of the Brewers 102 wins in 2026.
This article lays out so many self-inflicted wounds from MPS again. If this backlog isn’t cleared by 10/1 it’s more money left on the table. Clean up all the issues of mismanagement within the Davis Center before hugely consequential plans that close schools. sahanjournal.com/education/mi...

I've watched at least one episode of 63/100 top shows (show's I've never seeen highlighted in red)
People who say there's no mass culture anymore clearly don't care about gas pump tv, that's where the masses are.
Somebody last night called them the Green Bay Peter Principles and--
More importantly (for the sake of my mental health)... ONE HUNDRED!
So the Packers thought they were one player away, went all-in on Micah and then did nothing sustantial to improve their weak spots. Is this a gute problem evaluating the roster? Is it a coaching issue that they aren't able to develop guys and count on internal improvement?
I don't know what other levers the Packers' coaching staff has left to pull here. They could go back to Donovan Jennings, but I doubt many people would prefer that option. This is a personnel issue, and that's on the front office. I wrote about it this week for @theleap.bsky.social 👇
The Packers need to go shopping
The state of the Packers' offensive line puts the unit in a precarious position, both for Thursday's game and in the weeks to come. The next man up might need to come from outside Green Bay.

Extremely low-hanging fruit. I have grad school friends in the south who ask me all the time about jobs up here.
Yeah, I think that's right. I think there's a huge opportunity for folks in blue states to hire amazing faculty right now, and also there seems to be no program trying to actually do it.
Here's a useful and informative report, with some data going back to 1980. It has some interactive elements I used to generate the displayed graphs. The report makes clear that reduced state appropriations for higher ed is a nationwide issue, with variability across states. ssti.org/blog/useful-...

Student loan payments are going from $98/month to $498/month- is there anyone with financial smartness regarding student loans that can help me navigate this devastating increase? I am on Pay As You Earn with PSLF coming in a few years...
U of M’s general budget malaise reminded me of this questionable decision Walz made in appointing regents. The state needs to take an active interest in how its flagship university is being run. racketmn.com/walzs-dubiou...

Good question! State appropriations have dropped from 39% of the University budget since 1990 down to 16% in 2025 and I have also not heard a peep about this from state leaders. www.house.mn.gov/comm/docs/ZF...
And where the hell are our state leaders on this? I never hear anyone from the legislature or people running to be governor talking about how they’re going to help the university thrive
