Well well! Look what's been announced. It was an absolute pleasure and honour to design this book for 2000 AD. I'm a long time reader of the comic (I picked up my first prog in the early 80s) and it was a real trip down memory lane pulling it all together with @mysterypickles.bsky.social. Buy it!

I got to work with so many fantastically creative people on the 2000 AD Annual. Gemma Sheldrake, Ladronn, Rob Williams, Tom Eglington, Maura McHugh, Scarlett Willow, Joe Currie, Staz Johnson, Rob Steen. Proud that all the effort has resulted in an Eisner nomination. But tough competition this year.

The hard work of lots of people resulted in this award. Mick McMahon drew every page, David Roach curated it, art collectors lent us art (especially Rufus Dayglo), Ben Saunders wrote the introduction. Joe Morgan, Sam Gretton, Dagna Dlubak, and Chiara Mestieri made sure the book exists.
