Watching the sign language translators go to town with T. Kingfisher's weird animal kingdom facts, as she gracefully and entertainingly pads for Hugo Award technical difficulties, is absolutely incredible. Unsung heroes.

Wishing I had a time-turner here at WorldCon to go to all these amazing panels. 💕😭

Steep a cup of tea and sit for a while with "You Cannot Help but Bloom" by @speculativekane.bsky.social. Consider, what (and who) makes you feel lighter, greener, freer? Reach out with the tendrils of your heart and let it blossom.
You Cannot Help but Bloom - Small Wonders
This isn’t her teahouse anymore. It’s yours. The warm funk of old-fashioned pu-erh and oolong has faded beneath the aromatic orange blossom of your new house blend.

The only dating advice I can offer is you gotta write it on the label, otherwise Health Inspectors will mark you down for unlabeled open bottles and shift managers will flip. Also, expired orange juice is disgusting and will explode if shaken.
Only dating advice i can offer is that that old carbon in solution in river water is absorbed by fish and then enters the bones of people who eat a lot of fish. Radiocarbon dates measured on the bones of these humans might come out too old, and a lot of Soviet era finds have never been calibrated

OK Bluesky, time to try to recreate a hit thread from the bad place, wherein I give you all of the tips for how to get your story published in Fusion Fragment. 1 Like = 1 Tip or until I run out of ideas or until I finish my drink.
"This is How You Lose the Time War" has been on my TBR shelf for a while for a bittersweet reason; I knew I was going to love it, but didn't want it to be over too soon... Finally started it today. And yeah, I'll probably finish it tomorrow. Absolutely wonderful writing, and fun, too.
Writers! Spread the word! Uncanny Magazine will be open for Flash Fiction submissions (750-1500 words) from March 24-28. www.uncannymagazine.com/submissions/
For our anniversary, my partner and I got a 3L barrel to age our own concoctions. This one came out the best! (apt, as I'm playing a bard in DND right now) This recipe base and a few other personal favorites from my seven years of bartending will be in Saros #2 for those who enjoy libations!
First bluesky post has to feature the kitty, right? Friends, meet Jinxy. She yells at squirrels and flops around with reckless abandon--partially because she's crosseyed. She's a good girl.
