Just finished The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood store.steampowered.com/app/1340480/ I'll do a full review later, but I wanted to share my thoughts while the experience is still fresh This is one of the best games I've played this year. An intense, profound, intimate and deeply immersive experience.

This is very true. It reminds me of the reason why Benett Foddy named his game "Getting over It with Benett Foddy", he talks in a video about making yourself known as a creator when you're a small indie, and not hiding behind a studio name. People follow creators.

the thing about indie games is that if someone designs one single game I love, I’ll get whatever they make for the rest of their lives and pretty much always have a good time. people are so attached to ip but imo you really gotta know the creators.

Started playing The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood store.steampowered.com/app/1340480/... I've barely started this game, and it's kind of blowing me away. I've been captivated by its atmosphere, dialogue and story just from the hour I've been playing. Really didn't expect to get absorbed in it so quickly.

Watching my nth Undertale playthrough by a youtuber I've decided I'm going to document every single little design quirk, story moment, or just generally any cool thing that I notice

I am weirdly invested in the Mr Society storyline in Deltarune Idk why this particular NPC has gripped my attention more than any other Like, the others are cool too, I like the recolored Rudinn, I like Top Chef and Mallius But every chapter, first thing I do is check up on Mr Society

Alriiiight it's time to close Twitter for the next few days I commented on ONE thread abt the whole Hank Green situation and now The Algorithm© is pushing nothing but blue checksmarks berating people for being anti-AI I am being baited for engagement and I will not participate

Cairn - Review 🧵 I have a lot of mixed feelings about Cairn, and I've struggled to write this review for a while because of it. So let me get to the conclusion first : Cairn is absolutely a game worth playing, and I recommand it to anyone interested by the premise of "a game about climbing".

It's not a competition, obviously - but it's absolutely bananas that GMTK Game Jam 2026 actually received more submissions than this year's Global Game Jam. That makes GMTK the biggest game jam in existence. (Maybe GGJ allowing AI-generated submissions put some devs off... who knows?)

Here's a small #GMTKJam2026 update It's now the start of 3 of the jam. Here's how we spent the early parts of day 1 brainstorming between us. The first thing I always like to do when the theme dorps is a word cloud, where everyone writes single words they think that relate to the theme.

Note to myself Games I finished and need to review : - Cairn - Lorelei & the Laser Eyes - Blasphemous - Mermaid Mask - Deltarune ch5 maybe? Games in progress - Solarpunk Games to start : - Laika - Scourgebringer - Denshattack

I don't post much in part bc i'm bad at social media, but also bc I recently got an internship as a Game Designer Assistant in a big studio it's funny, making games has been my life goal for so long and yet it feels like this is the first time that I am really and truly making a game

I feel like Kane Parsons really nailed what the Backrooms are, what they should be, and what they represent Saw a tweet talking abt how the "serial killer" horror genre of the 90s & 00s has given way to the Gen Z fears : isolation and simulacrum, and I love that analysis

Psychonauts 2 - Review 🧵 store.steampowered.com/app/607080 I played Psychonauts 1 back in 2017, nearly 10 years ago now. And while not revolutionary in its gameplay, the game definitely left a mark on me, as it did on many others who played it.
