For the first time since February, there are no kids at home. I have time to play—the old-fashioned way. 😎 Isn’t it finally time to buy Cyberpunk 2077 and experience this epic adventure? Plus, after a four-year wait, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 has just come out on Netflix! The reviews are excellent.

I hate this morning. I was expecting to wake up to see a media and political storm following an investigation yesterday showing that the French police were instructed to say the looting was organized by an opposition party. But there’s nothing—no consequences at all.The vast majority of the media...
One of my favorite sci-fi shows of the decade—of the century!—is celebrating its third anniversary today. Scavengers Reign was a shooting star🌠, poorly supported by HBO Max and then Netflix (as it was only available in a handful of countries), but I'm so glad this one season exists.

Same here, really, for both. (My sanity too 🤭) Except I lost almost a third of my income by leaving Twitter, and a third is disappearing because of AI, and we have to deal with inflation because of some guy elected on the other side of the ocean.🙃 It's true that I did some of that myself, but...
Incidentally, one thing I don't say enough -- Patreon is flawed in some of the same ways, say, Bluesky is flawed, and I complain about those often. But it is also an unequivocally good thing that undoubtedly saved my life. Not an exaggeration.

Come to think of it, since the original version of Star Wars (1977) is coming back to theaters in 2027: In 1995, I bought this Laserdisc box set because they said it was the last time we could see the OG Star Wars trilogy. ... I've never had a Laserdisc player 😂
A good reason for me not to go to Star Wars Celebration 2027: one Russia is enough. 😇
New in PN: Who wants to visit an authoritarian America? "Data shows the US on its way to being as unpopular a tourist destination as Russia, & for roughly the same reasons. In both countries, a tourist who runs afoul of the govt might spend months in a freezing warehouse without no legal counsel."
Wishing all my fellow French citizens well in their demonstrations. Please be very careful around the police. Do not forget that this government treats us like enemies.
