We did it! BigDub seemed to have a blast and picked up the mechanics and encounters SO quickly. His imagination brought the team so much joy as he predicted how each battle would go as I taught. “So we’re gonna get into our ships and fight Oryx since we’re outside!” Man… if only. ❤️

Yes, I understand completely. You’re not wrong/ridiculous/immature for feeling grief. The hopelessness, helplessness, confusion, sorrow and anger can all be there at the same time. Yes it sucks that no one on the outside gets it. Validate yourself & others, we’re in this right now and that’s ok.
Struggling today. With so much. Stuff at home, stuff online, stuff in the world… I’m trying to see the blessings since I know they are plenty, but right now there’s a lot of fog clouding it all up. Harper’s been watching a lot of Frozen/2, and “The Next Right Thing” is on repeat in my head.
