I wish that more people didn't associate it with "poor FPS". They tried it a year plus ago, like once ... And basically went NAH. And they took that one experience and keep talking about it. The platform has defo improved since then! Performance is MUCH better. I wish people would try it again.
That you do not need to be knee deep into flux or have 20 inspectors open and can indeed just go somewhere and socialize
One of the things that's been kinda weighing me down is The Splittening. It was a massive engineering undertaking and I worked through my free time and weekends for months near the end to get it out of the door. The whole time, I was dreaming of doing a bit of a celebration.

i really hate adhd, i feel like i cannot finish anything because as soon as the date turns over there's no throughline everything that made yesterday special just kind of vanishes between my fingers and i'm slipping and desperately clinging to whatever short term dopamine i can find again
lately it feels like every night i'm losing my memories, going to bed determined to do something, to fix something, and then just waking up lost and repeating the same day i need days to be longer, i need more time to think, that feeling of loss keeps holding me back from sleep

And for the easy route. For vrchat all you have to do is drag in a unitypackage, follow avatar creator instructions if needed, and then upload. In resonite, you just need to do the exact same thing with a resonitepackage. Drag it onto the game window, equip the avatar. Done.
Since some people are taking the wrong message from this, I want to clarify: I'm not suggesting to not be yourself on Resonite - avatar identity is very important on our platform. I'm saying that doing setup from scratch is a complex process and there might be easier alternatives.

In a lot of cases - you don't need to! This is a good list of avatar bases that already have pre-setup packages. #Resonite #socialVR

I know I'm in a bit biased position here, but this is disturbing to me on personal level. Virtual platforms are homes to many people. They are a home to me too. To me, this is akin to having the government put CCTV cameras inside your private home to monitor your at all times. It's not the way.
