Hey everyone, my final Summer of (Movie) Love entry is here & it’s celebrating the ultimate Labor Day weekend comedy — WEEKEND AT BERNIE’S. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the summer season & it was a great end note for ‘80s summer comedies: from-the-desk-of-the-horror-chick.ghost.io/summer-of-mo...

I guess my new trend is to start writing about a movie for it’s anniversary and then finally finish that piece 2 months after said anniversary because I either got too busy, the writing got to be very overwhelming or both. Lol Anyway, please check out my celebration of THE OMEN. Cheers!

Hey everyone- here’s my celebration of THE OMEN in honor of its 50th anniversary this year. I started this months ago & then life kept happening so it’s late but hopefully Damien won’t hold it against me. from-the-desk-of-the-horror-chick.ghost.io/the-omen-at-... Open to free & paid subscribers!

Tim Curry was a dynamo of a performer who constantly found ways to entertain, engage, and delight. He lives eternally through his many works that will go on to inspire generations with their wit, wisdom, heart, and humanity. So it goes.

I know it’s hard to watch all these beautiful things be carried away by time and see the wrong things growing in their place. But listen. Listen. We have to be the beautiful things now. It has to be us. It has to be us. Courage.

I've never met anyone who didn't at least like (most completely loved) Dolly, and I hope I never do. We were so lucky to have an angel of that caliber walking and talking and singing among us for as long as we did, inspiring all the while. We've really lost some of the absolute best this year.

Dolly Parton was amazing. Truly unique, inspiring, talented, brave, and wonderful in ways that’s impossible to encapsulate in a few words. The world is a lesser place without her in it. She will live on forever through her works and incredible life. So it goes.
