It's to celebrate the announcement of the upcoming Moonlighter 2 full launch. ๐ŸŽ‰ Do y'all think it's likely to come to GOG as well? I hope it does, cause I want it. ๐Ÿ™

Well, this is it. ๐Ÿ† This is the highest score I'll ever attain in Look Outside, cause I've optimized the heck out of this run and am too fond of it to start over fresh...also, fatigue setting in. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ I'm rated Triple-X (XXX). โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž Did I say rated? I meant ranked. ๐Ÿซฃ 35850 points, after being tripled. ๐ŸŽŠ

A few special weapons in Look Outside cannot be repaired with duct tape, unlike every other weapon. ๐Ÿฉน They turn into a different variant after getting sufficiently damaged, and that variant can then be repaired, but you're not getting the unique one back. ๐Ÿ™ Good to know, gotta plan accordingly. ๐Ÿ—’๏ธโœ๏ธ

YYYEEEEESSSSSSS!! ๐Ÿ™Œ I won't go into detail on what these screenshots mean, to avoid them being spoilers, but take my word for it: What preceded them was a challenge of hellish difficulty. ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ (Would be neat to have a Spoiler label that initially blurs or hides images so viewers can choose to unhide.)

Dialogue box featuring an ominous, wide-open eye.
"...thou art... far stronger than my previous reckoning."Dialogue box featuring an ominous, wide-open eye.
"How strange a Human thou dost prove... tender in thy mercy, yet mighty in thy force."Dialogue box featuring an ominous, wide-open eye.
"I did hold thee in false measure, I admit. I held thee but a hapless thrall of fate, a mere bystander. Yet thou art far otherwise."Dialogue box featuring an ominous, wide-open eye.
"Perchance thou dost indeed possess the strength after all. How curious. I am much relieved."

All of my main party members are at their maximum experience levels now, and there are still a few days left to go before it's over. โš”๏ธ #LookOutside In fact, I have been hyper focused on optimizing each and every day spent. ๐Ÿ“‘ I WILL succeed and I WILL get an awesome score and rank! Mark my words. ๐Ÿ˜ค

Woot! Over 600 followers. Thanks friends! ๐Ÿ˜„ I keep wanting to do some multiplayer stuff, but scheduling is a nightmare. ๐Ÿ˜— Also, I feel like if it's with new-ish acquaintances, low stress co-op stuff would be best, just to relax together. Or we could go for Spelunky and just accept we'll die a lot. โšฐ๏ธ

Ostensibly I am around 69% crazy, but 90% hot to make up for it? ๐Ÿคฃ This places me in the so-called Date Zone, but my profile here is strictly platonic (not counting fantasy erotic roleplaying), so that's kind of useless information. ๐Ÿ˜‡ Not to be taken too seriously. ๐Ÿ˜‰ www.idrlabs.com/hot-crazy-sc...

A graph with two axes: The Hot axis (X, horizontal) and the Crazy axis (Y, vertical). Both go from one to ten, and the entire graph is divided into four quadrants.

The two quadrants on the left are fully colored in red ("No-Go Zone").

The bottom right quadrant is has three colors:
A big vertical purple area at its left ("Fun Zone").
A medium green area in its upper right ("Marriage").
A small pink area in the bottom right ("Unicorn").

The top right quadrant has three colors:
A big triangular area in its upper left, colored in orange ("Crazy Zone").
A triangular tip of the aforementioned purple Fun Zone that's mostly in the quadrant below this one.
A medium-sized light blue area in its lower right ("Date Zone"), which also contains the dot of the test-taker roughly in its middle portion.

"You are 65% hot, 77.5% crazy, which places you in the danger zone." LMAO www.idrlabs.com/hot-crazy-sc...

In a turn-based RPG where melee weapons easily get damaged and break, repairs being a limited resource, that one character who attacks with unarmed combat skills has great utility. Furthermore, if you get a coat that allows attacking twice in a row, they're a good candidate for wearing it. /protip ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ

Decided I'd swap out my avatar for a change. A fresh new look to keep things interesting. ๐Ÿฅธ Do y'all like it? Does it suit me and my posting style? โœจ And should I change my header banner? I think I might keep Anna, she just fits the dark theme so well, and I'll end up overthinking dimensions etc. ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ

Should I reroll these stats, guys? Or do they seem fine? ๐Ÿงโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธ Any Dungeons and Dragons or Mazes and Wizards experts here to help me? ๐ŸŽฒ Just kidding... ๐Ÿ˜— I don't think rerolling changes much here, it seems to depend on your choices during character creation. Unless your character's luck plays a role? ๐Ÿ€

Mazes and Wizards, a Dungeons and Dragons-esque pen and paper tabletop RPG inside of Look Outside. Lyle, the mysterious and nerdy dungeon master goes over the stats of the character I created:
Cleodil, Elf Mage of Arachnum (spider goddess of magic and secrets, whose churches are libraries).
Strength 5, Agility 4, Constitution 3, Magic 9, Intelligence 5, Luck 3.
Short size, Lore 3, Nature 2.
Lyle asks: "Does this look okay?" and I get to choose between "All good!" and "Start over.".
In the upper left of the screenshot, above the dialogue box, my crafting table can be seen. There's also a charging cellphone on it, because thankfully I have electricity.
In the upper right, next to a table with two chairs visible, Colonel Squeakums the cute rat companion is milling about.

So inside Look Outside lore exists Mazes & Wizards, which is a reference to Dungeons & Dragons. ๐Ÿฒ As well as Kingdoms of the Dump, which is a reference to, uh...Kingdoms of the Dump. ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ I am getting into the nitty gritty of at least one of these right about now. It's a wild ride, but I won't spoil. ๐Ÿ˜‡

I enjoy that good performance results in more newspaper subscribers. Conquering the neighborhood! It's a more substantial feedback of how well you are doing than just the points (except in games where you can buy upgrades with them). ๐Ÿ—ž๏ธ๐Ÿ˜๏ธ And also, man struggling to put on his pants is truly iconic! ๐Ÿ˜†

Note that when checking how many stains are left, you need to SAVE BEFORE looking at the door and THEN RELOAD because it disappears forever after being witnessed. ๐Ÿ’พ Also, it only appears at all if the main character (default name Sam) is alone, without any party members currently accompanying him. ๐Ÿซฃ

I found out how to open that door under the stairwell in Look Outside. ๐Ÿšช Something scary happened while exploring at high danger level, and after dealing with that, there was one less dark stain. ๐Ÿ‘ป So I just gotta do this four more times, and at zero stains left, pretty sure the door will unlock. ๐Ÿ”ฆ

Drop some MOTORCYCLES ๐Ÿ๏ธ ๐Ÿ–ค ๐Ÿ›ต (I didn't quote any post from the chain because I'm insecure about whether that would be welcomed or an annoyance to chain participants, since the video is highly NSFW and all. But if you don't mind that, then feel free to quote post it from here on out. ๐Ÿ˜œ)

Sixty dollars tip, heck yeah! ๐Ÿ’ฐ This makes me wish there were more upgrades to purchase. โš™๏ธ Maybe some incremental stuff, or extra expensive upgrades that are just for comfort when you've already proven that you've got this? ๐Ÿ˜Ž Like the golden fence in old-school Harvest Moon. ๐ŸŽฉ

Papa's Freezeria Deluxe (Personal Computer) screenshot.
Waiting 100%, Building 100%, Mixing 100%, Topping 100%, all perfect scores for a total of 300 points. Daily special on the menu is Choco Cherry, which is also the current customer on screen's order. His name is Kingsley and he's celebrating with both arms raised up and a big smile on his face. He gave an amazing tip of $60.00, as seen over the tip jar on the bottom right.

Look Outside, finishing up the first week. Got a full party of four, and everyone in it over level 10. I think I'm slaying it! โœจ Made some new, scary discoveries, but not telling you to avoid spoilers. ๐Ÿคซ I might have overdone it, labeling my recent LO screenshot as "graphic media". Scaredy cat. ๐Ÿ™€

So the obscured door can only be interacted with once, no matter if you were able to open it or not. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Good thing I am keeping backup saves for each day during this Cursed Mode (highest difficulty) run. ๐Ÿ˜› After everytime checking it, I will simply reload, until I finally crack it. Highly curious. ๐Ÿ‘€

Got some endings in Look Outside. Won't go into details, cause not wanting to spoil anything. ๐Ÿคซ Was surprised to see that there's a score and rating at the end, managed to get up to Rank A. โœŒ๏ธ Now on my next attempt...in Cursed Mode! ๐Ÿ’€ First goal: Survive long enough to reach the first save spot. ๐Ÿคฃ
