hmm, feeling really good about a lot of character designs and story beats lately. if the gameplay turns out to be a big pile of clunky no-fun shite then i'll just do a bangin' graphic novel instead.

recently found myself putting on PSO speedruns while animating, and it reminded me how the game has a single sound effect for taking damage no matter what hit you. zapped with a laser beam? punch noise. explosion? punch noise. breathed on by a poisonous flower? punch noise. i love it.
had one last bit of bird food so leant down to give it to a swan directly but accidentally dropped it down a deep hole right in front of them. i am a shit. the next bad thing that happens to me i will interpret as swan justice.
